How to Protect Your Feet Pics From Being Stolen

What the site does to protect paid photos, what you can do, and what to do if your photos show up somewhere else.

Nothing posted online is impossible to copy. But you can make stealing harder, make stolen photos easy to trace back to you, and get them taken down.

What the site already does

  • Paid files are only sent to you, buyers who paid and site admins.
  • Before purchase, buyers see your teaser photo or a lightly blurred first photo. The real file is not sent.
  • Stolen-content reports are taken seriously. Use the report button on any profile or post that uses your photos.

What you can do

  • Add a small mark with your username, placed on the foot, not in a corner that crops off easily. Many free phone apps add text to a photo.
  • Keep your best full sets locked. Free posts should be good, not everything.
  • Do not send full-size files to anyone in chat before they pay.

Check if your photos are out there

Every few weeks, run a reverse image search on a few of your photos. Google Images and Bing both let you search by uploading a photo. If your photos show up on another site under someone else's name, save the link and a screenshot.

Getting stolen photos taken down

  1. Look for a "report," "copyright" or "DMCA" link on the site where your photo appears.
  2. Send a takedown request. Say the photo is yours, link to where it is posted, and link to where you posted it first.
  3. If the site will not respond, a takedown request can also go to the company that hosts the site.
  4. If someone is posing as you on this site, report the profile. More in fake creators and stolen photos.

Paid files are only sent to buyers who paid, so they are harder to grab than free posts. A buyer could still save and share them, which is why a small username mark helps.
