Keep Your Identity Private in Chat
What to share, what to hold back and how to say no.
Share less than you think
- Use your username. Do not give your legal name, workplace or city.
- Skip social media handles. A handle can be searched in seconds.
- Check photo backgrounds. Mail on a counter, a window view, a rug you have posted elsewhere or a pet can give you away.
- Feet photos carry clues too: a distinctive tattoo, a scar or the same pedicure color as your public account.
Strip what the camera adds
Photos uploaded here have their location data removed. Files you send anywhere else do not. Keep every photo and clip inside the app.
Keep the deal on the platform
Posts, custom requests and tips all go through checkout. That is where the creator accepts first, the buyer pays once and delivery lands in your chat. If someone asks you to pay or get paid somewhere else, say no. Nobody here needs you to leave.
How to say no
Short and calm works. "I keep everything in the app, thanks." If they push, stop replying and use the report button on the message. Blocking is fine too.
If something slips
Shared too much? Ask the other person to delete it, tell support through the contact page, and change any handle you gave out.
